Cairngorms Community Council Business Economic Research (LEA 127)

What we would like to achieve is to:
• Undertake a research of businesses within the East Cairngorms area in order to establish the following by engaging directly with local businesses in the workplace:
o Detailed database of businesses within the EC area
o Support needed for employers
o Support needed for businesses
o Employment issues/barriers
• Funds will be used to:
o Host 2 awareness events of the project
o Undertake research
o Develop database
o Train personnel in research methodology
o Employ staff
• Main activity will be to:
o Work with partners to develop methodology
o Undertake face to face
o Develop forward strategy by working with partners

The work is supported by Scottish Enterprise Grampian and Aberdeenshire Council.
