| To involve Strathspey Gaelic speaking and Feis children in a programme of Heritage related activities around the linguistic/musical and cultural Heritage of Strathspey. Activities would include making an animation film, recording gaelic audio for the film, collecting local stories – old and new, collecting votes for the Tallest Story Competition. Digitise this material and organise it into the Strathspey part of the Dualchas na Cloinne (Children’s Heritage) action plan. Activities would include a mobile exhibition, interactive DVD production, a Strathspey section on the website and printed material. As part of Highland 2007 this material would be used to introduce as wide a range as possible of Strathspey residents and Park Users to the Heritage of the Strathspey area in particular and of the wider Highlands in general, through cartoons, interactive comics and gaelic games, a Tall Story Competition and a range of other enjoyable activities through the medium of Gaelic or English language depending on the audience. | |
