| people in understanding, enjoying and conserving the area, while contributing towards achieving the National Park aims. This will be achieved by the continuing deployment of a Project Officer to: • develop a programme of activity to promote the Award amongst target groups including young people and women; • run a programme of awareness raising and training events for existing and potential Award Providers; • train staff, rangers and youth workers and others to become JMA leaders and training providers • work with the wider community to encourage them to become involved in their local environment in innovative ways; • identify a role for the JMA in the National Park Plan. • to link JMA programmes to the special qualities of the National Park. • create volunteering opportunities for people of all ages to engage in activities that will conserve and enhance the special qualities of the Park and develop their understanding and awareness. • develop a CNP model for bringing groups from socially excluded areas and sectors of the community to enable them to engage in the special qualities of their national park.
