Cairngorms Visitor guide & CDRom (Ref: LEA038) APPLICANT: Highlands of Scotland Tourist Board on behalf of Aberdeen & Grampian and Angus & Dundee Tourist Boards

Produce 200,000 copies of a high quality and comprehensive visitor guide for the new Cairngorms National Park area. Also produce an associated CDRom. 5 principal objectives for the project are :

· To inform visitors of places to visit, things to do and activities to undertake
· To persuade visitors to increase their length of stay and spend in the area
· To enhance the visitors’ enjoyment of their stay
· To encourage retention and dispersal of visitors
· To encourage repeat business

The project was approved on the 11th of December 2003.
The total cost of this project is £67,000 with a contribution of 45% from Cairngorms LEADER+.
