Cairngorms Ptarmigan – Additional Interpretation Panel (Ref: LEA 059) APPLICANT: Cairngorm Mountain Trust

The provision of additional interpretation on the veranda viewing terrace, at the Ptarmigan building. The main interpretative panels were completed last year and have proved to be very popular and successful. However, it is now clear that an interpretive panel showing the landscape immediately outside the viewing platform at the Ptarmigan is required.

This will benefit all visitors to the site (over 250,000) by providing a more detailed understanding of the immediate landscape at Cairngorms Mountain.
This project was approved on the 8th April 2004.
The Total Cost of this project is £1,400 with a contribution of43% from Cairngorms LEADER+.
